Frederique Constant Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture 'The Elements Collection' FC-776HE3H6
This watch is part of the Elements collection.
To mark its 37th anniversary in 2025, Frederique Constant Manufacture is unveiling a collector's box set of just 37 pieces for the first time. This set consists exclusively of Manufacture pieces in strictly limited editions and embodies the essence of our watchmaking expertise.
The Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture is a one-of-a-kind design with a heliotrope dial.Until very recently, it was especially rare for this mineral to be used in watchmaking.Heliotrope belongs to the oxides class. As a result, it contains high traces of aluminum, iron, and potassium. Each of these leaves a multitude of graceful inclusions at the heart of thestone. It can sometimes contain flecks of black, pale or dark green, and even red. Eachfragment is unique, constituting a mineral patchwork with impressive aesthetic vivacity.
Against this palette, Frederique Constant deploys its renowned perpetual calendar. In 2016,this elite complication – requiring the most exacting watchmaking expertise – was madeavailable to the widest possible audience. Almost ten years after its release, the ClassicPerpetual Calendar Manufacture remains the most affordable of its Swiss Made counterparts. The variant proposed in The Elements set, however, lends it a delightful rarity. Contrary to thetwo previous calibres, the timepiece will only be offered in the 2025 set, meaning only 37exist.
Made of steel, a material popular with collectors, the 40-millimetre case holds a dial whosetricompax day/month/date display is a model of legibility. The leap year indication, a moresecondary detail, sits discreetly in the month counter. The moonphase completes thecomposition at six o’clock and reveals a glimpse of the handmade cut-out in the heliotrope. Asapphire caseback offers an intimate look at its FC-776 calibre, decorated with perlage andcôtes de Genève stripes. Its three-day (72 hours) power reserve can also be seen.
