Ultra-Chron Automatic

Longines Ultra-Chron Automatic 43mm L2.836.4.52.9

In 1968, Longines introduced the Ultra-Chron Diver, the first dive watch with a high-frequency movement. By then, the brand with the hourglass logo had already proven itself as a pioneer in high-frequency technology. As early as 1910, the brand with the winged hourglass had developed the first high-frequency movement capable of measuring a tenth of a second. In 1959, Longines developed the first fast-vibrating movement for a wristwatch, an observatory chronometer that achieved new records in terms of accuracy. The new Ultra-Chron is inspired by the design features and professional diving functions of the 1968 version. These chronometer-certified watches are powered by an exclusive Longines caliber equipped with a silicon balance spring and resistant to magnetic fields.
