Seiko Presage ‘Craftsmanship’ Arita Porcelain Dial SPB445j1The ‘Hakuji’ dial of this Presage creation is finished with Arita porcelain, known for its pure and durable white colour. This distinctive colour is enhanced by a transparent glaze finish. Simple indices have been chosen so as not to detract from the unique lustre of the porcelain. An experience that is enhanced by the curved surface on the outside of the dial. The part of the dial just inside the indices has a delicate pattern. The sub-dial at 6 o'clock is slightly recessed for a subtle shadow effect. The dial has a diameter of 31.6 mm.The case design is both elegant and sleek. Thanks to the contrasting polished link bracelet, constructed from multiple rows, the watch rests comfortably and securely on the wrist. The exquisite combination of high-quality materials allows the shiny appearance of the Arita porcelain dial to come into its own. The tips of the minute and second hands are curved towards the dial, bringing them closer to the hour markers. This improves readability. The double-curved sapphire crystal minimises the thickness of the watch. The super-hard coating on the case and bracelet offers extra protection against scratches.
