Black Bay 58 GMT
Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT M7939G1A0NRU-0003
This model takes us back to a time when globetrotting jetsetters, in all their glamour and elegance, began crossing time zones. It is equipped with TUDOR’s new medium-sized GMT Manufacture Calibre and features warm burgundy and black colours with gold plating on the bezel. The universally appealing case of the Black Bay 58 has become the model’s hallmark and is now available in a GMT version. The Black Bay 58 GMT has a 39 mm case, with a slimmer profile than the 41 mm version of the Black Bay GMT. The bidirectional rotating bezel features sides with excellent grip, and the ring has subtly curved numerals aligned with the circumference of the outer ring. However, the aesthetic details extend beyond the case size and bezel. The lollipop-style seconds hand evokes the look of early TUDOR diving watches, whilst the softly satin-brushed black dial gives off a subtle sheen under direct light. Changes have also been made in terms of ergonomics. The new crown, whose shape is reminiscent of the crowns on historic technical watches, is pressed completely against the middle case, so that the crown tube is not visible.
