The TUDOR collection of technical diving watches expands with the Pelagos 39, a watch with a versatile, complementary design. While the Pelagos, Pelagos LHD, and Pelagos FXD models retain a purely technical aquatic heritage, with features specifically suited to the highly specialized and relatively small group of professional divers, the Pelagos 39 is a compact, versatile, and traditional mechanical diving watch with a touch of elegance achieved through the sheen of the satin-brushed, sunray finish of the dial and bezel ring.The satin-brushed case, perfectly suited to this TUDOR collection, creates the Pelagos 39's balanced aesthetic. It contrasts beautifully with the glossy black ceramic bezel ring with a satin-brushed, sunray finish and a graduated disc with luminous white material. The bezel diameter is slightly larger than the middle case for maximum grip.
The monoblock hour markers on the dial are made of luminous ceramic. They emphasize the technical aesthetic and significantly increase the luminous surface area of the hour markers. The dial features a satin-finished, sunray-blasted flat disc whose subtle sheen contrasts with the matte finish of the 45° conical, bead-blasted flange. As the icing on the cake, the Pelagos name appears in glossy red lettering at the 6 o'clock position, providing a colorful break from the model's two-tone design.
The Pelagos 39 is fitted with a fully satin-brushed titanium bracelet featuring the TUDOR "T-fit" clasp, allowing for quick adjustment of the bracelet length. This easy-to-use, five-position system allows the wearer to quickly and easily adjust the bracelet to within 8 millimeters without the need for special tools. The clasp also has a function that allows the strap to be extended by 25 millimeters, making it easy to wear over a diving suit. The Pelagos 39 comes with a second black rubber strap with a titanium buckle that attaches to the case with titanium end links and a rubber extension that extends the strap by an additional 110 millimeters.

In-House Caliber MT5400
Thanks to this balance and the anti-magnetic silicon balance spring, the In-House Caliber MT5400 is certified as a chronometer by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). Its performance even exceeds the standards set by this independent institute. The COSC allows for an average deviation of -4 to +6 seconds per day for movements, but TUDOR goes a step further and has set the standard at -2 to +4 seconds of deviation in a fully assembled watch. Another notable feature is that the In-House Caliber MT5400 has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, making it "weekend-proof": the wearer can take the watch off on Friday evening and put it back on Monday morning without having to rewind it.
