WARRANTY CONDITIONS

All watches and jewelry sold on this website are covered by the 2-year statutory warranty. Please read the warranty booklet carefully to determine the exact duration of the warranty (2 years or longer) and what is covered. If you wish to make use of the statutory warranty, simply provide proof of purchase. The original warranty certificate can be used for this purpose; it lists the purchase date, model, and/or serial number. If you are reselling the watch on the secondhand market, we recommend keeping the original warranty certificate and packaging, even if the 2-year warranty period or longer has expired. These elements will positively impact the resale value.

The statutory warranty covers defects that are considered manufacturing defects. Accidents, damage, normal wear and tear, and improper use by the consumer are excluded from this statutory warranty.

Some examples that are excluded by the Civil Code are:

● Malfunctioning or non-functioning of the watch due to shock, fall, or impact

● Water damage to watches that are not or only splash-proof (3 ATM)

● Water damage to watches with a missing or damaged crown (the pusher for adjusting the time)

● Water damage to watches with a screw-down crown whose crown was open when in contact with water

● Water damage to chronograph watches with missing or damaged push buttons

If your watch is defective and needs to be returned, please notify us first by email (info@tensen.be). Describe as precisely as possible what the watch does or does not do. We will contact you by email (or by phone, if desired) and provide further instructions. Sometimes we can assist you remotely, and the watch does not need to be returned.

Article 1649quinquies, §2 of the Civil Code stipulates that, when the statutory warranty applies, the consumer is entitled to free repair or replacement of the goods. Therefore, the cost of shipping the goods to TenSen Juweliers - Marc TenSen Juweliers nv may not be charged to the consumer, but must be borne by TenSen Juweliers - Marc TenSen Juweliers nv.

After receiving your watch and proof of payment, we will assess on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, whether you are eligible for a warranty claim. If the warranty does not apply, we will inform you as soon as possible. If you do claim a warranty repair, we will forward it to the manufacturer. The average repair time, including shipping, generally takes 3 to 6 weeks and 8 to 12 weeks for some brands. Of course, you can always bring your watch to our store in Antwerp for a local inspection and the most helpful information we can offer at that time. Customers living outside Belgium can also always take advantage of the International Warranty. The importer's details are usually included in the warranty booklet. We can, of course, request or look up these details for you.

Please note! We do not accept watches or jewelry purchased from other online stores.
